She's definitely a Christian, the article made that clear
Where? I read it and all I could see was her family had forgiven her and praying for her, I didn't see anything which said that she was a Christian

 Barbara Ellen in The Guardian (the feminist commentator who said that hitting men is no big deal) said that this girl should "Keep her head held high"

If she did that, she wouldn't be able to suck off 24 blokes

I don't really see much of a big deal here. If she wants to do that, it's her decision. If people want to criticise her for it, that's fine as well.

This. Probably brought up in a Christian household but isn't religious herself.

Her friend says she was indeed a Christian.

I'm also surprised you say this is no big deal. I would have no problems if she did this behind closed doors, but sucking off 24 guys in a public bar? Are you saying you'd be cool with your daughter doing this?

Finally, I object to the hypocrisy of Guardian commentatoress Hadley Freeman and Barbara Ellen, in that they say that an adult, consenting woman taking her clothes off in front of a camera (Page 3) is outrageous and must be banned, but a girl sucking off 24 guys in a public bar for a £2 bottle of Cava is a legitimate expression of female sexuality

Oh, fair enough. I'm surprised she did this, in that case.

No, it'd be weird if my daughter did, but then I think people tend to be a bit different when it comes to things in their immediate family, such that they actually look at things less logically and have a more emotional response.

Guardian commentators tend to annoy me in general, so I never take them seriously. :p:

This isn't the big deal people are making it out to be. So what if she wanted to suck 24 dicks ("in a row?" - Clerks, 1994), that's her deal. You can argue that she was coerced into it by those around her, but no-one should be angry with her for doing it. It's strictly no one else's business if she's promiscuous, barring those that she engages in these acts with, and they didn't seem unhappy with what was happening.

If this hadn't been filmed, no-one would care. If this was a man licking 24 vaginas, no-one would care. If this was a pornstar sucking 24 dicks and being filmed, no-one would care. People only care because she's a young girl on holiday, and they don't have anything better to talk about. Grow the **** up.

Why? When has Christian doctrine ever stopped a Christian doing what they want to do?

Catholic priests are Christian and they rape little boys. I'm surprised that you are surprised.

You surely can't think this is a healthy and well-adjusted thing to do?

It's not just a commentatoress/comentatrix on The Guardian, feminists on TSR have said that Page 3 should be banned, and some of them have commented on this subject that it is wrong to judge this girl. That is astoundingly hypocritical

People seem to be implying that the guys were somehow passive in this; that they just sat there blameless while she initiated everything. That is a load of ****! She was clearly pretty drunk and I would bet £100 that this didn't just 'happen' - the guys clearly had some say in convincing her to do it. It takes two people - or in this case, 25 - to conduct a sex act publically, and if you're going to vilify the girl (which I don't personally agree with), you have to vilify the guys too. They had a drunk chick suck them off in public.
As I said in the other thread, she was pretty clearly NOT drunk to the point of obviating personal control (in that she was compos mentis to the point of being capable of running around all over the damn club with military precision). Please stop insinuating that her decision making capabilities were so compromised that it was the 'evil men' who were forcing her into doing this, rather than a dumb 18 year old doing something dumb 18 year olds do (well, rather worse than most dumb 18 year olds do, but - outrageous number aside - stuff like this happens every day in Magaluf/Ibiza).

I am amazed also that you and some other women won't spare a moment's compassion for the guys who were very clearly reluctant to get their junk out but were forced to by their mates and the girl herself. As I said in the other thread, spin this around the other way and the girl would probably be facing charges of sexual assault.

That means very little. Nobody truly knows her beliefs except her. It's entirely possible that her friend was simply attempting to somewhat restore her dignity with that comment, or that she labels herself as a Christian without truly believing or practising the faith (which isn't uncommon). Either way, what difference does it make? You almost make it sound like being religious is a prerequisite for performing immoral behaviour. If not, why even mention it since it's totally irrelevant?

Extremely well said, your comments are always spot on. +1ed.

I completely agree on the sexual assault issue, his mates were forcing him and she clearly said, "Get it out, hurry up".

All she could think about was her reward, consent be damned

This girl was, according to her friend, a committed Christian and from a family of evangelical Christians. I've seen this happen over and over again. Because of the emotional and psychologically repressive nature of the religion, when they rebel they really rebel.

On a more general note, it is absolutely bizarre that The Guardian and feminists are saying, "How dare you criticise this girl for having sex, and making her own decisions".

These are the same feminists who, when it comes to a sober, conscious, adult making a decision to go nude in front of a camera (page 3 girls), that is absolutely outrageous and must be stopped. But if a girl sucks off 24 guys for a wine cooler, that is her decision.

I strongly resent the users who are saying, "So what? Plenty of people do gangbangs, etc". They don't do it in public! I think it's quite sanctimonious for certain feminists to say that this behaviour cannot be criticised or judged. Also, the girl was Irish so people can stop with the "Is this British values?"

His point is that while she was willing to do it, some of the other guys were actually pretty reluctant.

To be honest, I watched the video again and it does look like some of the guys were under pressure to get their dicks out. I just dont know what to make of the video to be honest, its poor quality so its hard to make a judgment either way, but thats what it looks like.

Yeah, tbh I feel for her family
