Cupcake society

I made these the other day. My boyfriend just broke my piping bag, so awaiting a new one before I can do any more. I have so many recipes I want to try. I have a list of things I want to buy so I can make pretty things.

Where did you get those pretty cases from? Very nice

I'm not sure, sorry. My mym bought them for me in a set, but I threw the box away so I've no idea where they came from. I found some lovely designs on here and here though.

And what was your recipe for the icing?

150g butter, at room temp
250g icing sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp hot water
tiniest drop of red food colouring

Beat sugar and butter together, then add the liquids and mix. I found it so yummy, but bf said it was too sweet.
Oh it was also a bit runny, too much water, so I left it in the fridge for a bit to firm up.
