Could anyone solve this please?
2Tan(50-2x)=5
Find the general solution for x.

I did it, but got different signs ( + rather than minus the acute) in my answer. Heeeeeelp!
Thanks.

We won't just do your question for you. What is it that you're having problems with exactly? It's just a case of rearranging and taking the inverse tangent of both sides, remembering that if \tan A = B then A = \tan^{-1} B + n\pi (for all n \in \mathbb{Z}).

I got the answer as -90n + 9.1, when it's -90n - 9.1.

50-2x=68.1
-2x=18.1

Then: 180n + 68.1
-90n + 9.1.

Oooooh I actually release now... okay sorry for my silliness. you divide both by 2x. Gahhh thanks!
