Connaught Halls, do we have to move our stuff out at christmas?

my brother was in halls at university of nottingham and they had to move all there stuff out at christmas/easter etc as the uni rented out the rooms. is that the same at southampton?

It depends what contract you're on, a handful of people may be on a "short" contract which means they have to move out over certain holidays...I think Easter, maybe Christmas as well.

I was in Connaught last year and as far as I know everybody there was on a "standard" contract, meaning you can leave your stuff there from the day you move in til the very last day in June, if you so desire =)
