HELP I don't know what to do with my life! I have no direction :(

Umm, well I'm new here, so I'm not even sure if this is the right part of the forum to be posting this on. But basically, I've just started year 12, and am loving it, but finding it really hard, as all my friends are buzzing with uni prospectuses and ucas points etc, they all seem to know exactly what they want to do, and I have absolutely no idea :frown:

I'm taking Biology, Psychology, Philosophy & Ethics and Art. Pretty sure I can get A/A* grades (hopefully! :o: ) in the first 3, I'm dropping art at the end of year 12, and probably wont get higher than a B if I'm lucky! I'm doing my grade 8 on flute this year, and have only been playing for 3 years, so this is something I might want to pursue further at a conservatoire...I'm also really into animals, we have loads of pets, and I used to have ambitions on becoming a vet, but gave up on that, and now I'm not taking the right A levels. I love horses, and would like to be able to compete in the sport to a high level, and am currently working at an equestrian centre at the weekends and have some equine qualifications. I love creative writing, and for a while I wanted to be a writer. I could go on, there are is a numerous list of things I can see myself doing :frown:

I feel so confused! It's like I have too many interests, I can't see how to narrow down and specialise :frown: Anyone have any ideas of how I can become more decisive? It's not that I lack motivation, It's that I lack something to motivate myself for...

Sorry for the essay...
Believe me, you are so very far from alone ) you'd be surprised how many of us uni students still don't have any idea what we want to do ultimately, as a career. I'm just finishing a master's in history, and I still have no idea :redface:P

Each person is different, my sister knew she wanted to do graphic design at high school and she is now a graphic designer, I, on the other hand still have no idea and am going into my 3rd year of uni. I plan to try things out when i leave and stick with what i enjoy, as long as your happy, it shouldnt matter too much at the moment =]

What do you love to do, and what would make you happy to get up in the morning?

Start with the general stuff then whittle it down further until it's detailed.
