AQA - Form, structure and language?!

Hey everyone,

I'm really having trouble understand how to put form, structure and language in my critical anthology coursework. I'm doing a marxist reading of 'Grapes of Wrath' by John Steinbeck but don't know how to include form, structure and language in my short word limit.

I'm aiming for an A so I really need to include this!

Thanks.

Hey cheers for your reply.

It's for my A2 coursework and I'm doing a comparative essay on 'The Remains of the Day' by Kazuo Ishiguro and 'Maurice' by E.M. Forster. The question of my essay is;

Englishness is often thought of as being defined by an ‘ethic of restraint, repression and the stiff upper lip’. To what extent do you agree that this statement reflects the ways in which Ishiguro and Forster’s present England and Englishness?

If you have any time it'd be much appreciated :smile:
