A*A*A*A*A*A*A*A*A*A

No (was predicted A* in the one i got an A in :P)

University in general don't care. Unless you're applying to Oxford/Cambridge or for courses like medicine, dentistry, or economics then they dont really matter providing you meet the minimum entry requirements and have good AS's.

A*A*A*A*A*A A B B C
Are these good enough for LSE or Cambridge?

If you're applying for economics then they could be considering cambridge interviews a high %age of people. Just remember that you wont be highest on their ranking before the interview and LSE and cambridge both ask for your AS unit scores. (cambridge regardless of the course)
13 A*-C (see sig). i dont think anywhere but oxbridge care about gcses.

Geography, Economics or Biology. :colondollar:

Choose subject first, then we'll talk about entry requirements for Oxbridge.

You must've attended some posh grammar school. Spanish + French? Fancy.

Actually, I had to pay the school for those two. My parents encouraged me to learn them when I was young so I didn't have any lessons on them.

Since I was predicted A*AABBBCCCCDD I was pretty thrilled! My teacher's faces were something to behold.

In year 11 now - I've got 3 A*'s so far, more exams to come...
But not really bothered because most uni's don't look at gcse grades at all, just try really really hard at a level, you'll be fine
A*s, so I can't really complain. Not as important as A-levels, but can be helpful for some courses and select universities ie medicine at Birmingham/Oxford.

mostly B's with a few A's and a couple of A*s all with about two weeks of revision as well - baring in mind that my two IT A*'s were completely coursework as was half of business and media
