King's College vs. Glasgow
Hi,
I am an American student, and have been accepted to biology Masters programs at King's College, London (Msc. Biomedical and Molecular Bio Research) and at the University of Glasgow (Mres. Molecular Medicine). I am having a difficult time making a decision between the two.
In terms of finances, King's has given me a 5000 GBP scholarship (16K tuition), while Glasgow has awarded me with a 10,000 GBP scholarship (15K tuition). Although I have been accepted to UCL as well, they have not given me a scholarship, and it would be difficult for me to justify attending a college without financial aid.
I was wondering if any home students can give me an idea about King's and Glasgow, in terms of their science reputation and overall quality. My goal is to obtain a Ph.D.
Any help would be much appreciated since I need to decide within the next few weeks! Thanks.
