Mate, was the AS easy?

AS Biology? The content is easy, application is where it gets tricky. Biology was the subject that always let me down, even in GCSE times. Got a very high C overall at AS biology. Only need a B in it for my uni offers.

Best piece of advice i can give is to practice exam questions regularly and topics where you need to memorise key detail, just make some space on your bedroom walls and pin up some a3 revision mind maps. I've only started to do it for A2 and it helps tremendously.

Well i haven't done all of the questions yet ,but i covered half of each unit .I'm doing 4,5 and 2 i know its alot ,but i really don't mind because i'm gonna have to revise it for the synoptic essay anyway urgh !

Yeah the intro to each chapter is very annoying ,but the HSW stuff are quite useful and challenging .Also the last chapter is very good (interpreting data ).

Didn't do very well in my January for bio4 so i need to go through every corner in the book hahah.

oh good luck with your ISA ,i'm sure you will do well

Yeah exactly! I read somewhere on here that people who aren't resitting have to revise the same amount as people who are, so you might as well resit them to be safe and get the grade you need.

Are you revising unit 1 as thoroughly as the units you're resitting though or is it natural that you will focus more on them?

Thank you!! Good luck with your exams generally - I'm sure with the work everyone's putting in (on this thread particularly), everyone will do well

ps. do you have a link to the answers for the A2 collins questions? For some reason mine doesn't seem to be working today :s-smilie:
