A-Level Maths - Mature Student

Hi,
i want to take up a-level maths with mechanics. i want to sit the exam without any distance learing and want to go through the course material by myself. my questions are,
- what is the cheapest route to gain the a-level?
i understand that coursework and exams are involved, what are the costs associated with these and what is the timeframe in completing this course?
any help would be much appreciated, thanks

IT depends on which exam board you sit. Best thing to do would be to get in contact with your local college and ask them.

i'd prefer to sit with edexcel as i get the impression from the a-level maths sticky on tsr that they dont do coursework
