I think that realistically it won't go below 135 because although non calc was hard it wasn't hard enough to take off like 20 marks from the normal boundary.

Hi everyone
I just wanted to know if anyone knew what the grade boundaries for Maths 2011 is. I am pretty sure i got an average over 70% and want to know what grade that will get me.

Any help will be appreciated

Grade boundaries aren't calculated until everyone's been marked. However here are the exams from previous years:

HIGHER

J08 N08 J09 N09 J10 N10 Average
A* 169 159 173 174 176 170 170.2
A 140 132 141 141 141 136 138.5
B 102 98 105 103 103 102 102.2
C 65 65 70 66 66 68 66.7
D 34 35 40 39 39 42 38.2

I know the November 2008 set looks promising but the course back then involved coursework (which probably took it down slightly). If I were to guess I would probably say about 88% for an A* overall, probably around 70% for an A, 50% B and 32 (ish) for a C. I think the A* boundary will probably be quite high - mainly because everyone i've spoken to have said that they found the calculator paper dead easy. Anyway, all the best.
