Connecting my Bangor E Mail account to my iphone?

Hi,
basically thread title says it all- I'm wanting to connect my webmail account at uni to my iphone- no idea how to do it!
Could someone please help?

Steps -

Step 1 - Tap settingson your home screen.

Step 2 - Scroll down and select Mail, Contacts, Calendars.

Step 3 - Select the Add Account option.

Step 4 - Select Other.

Step 5 - Select Add Mail Account.

Step 6 - Enter the following settings:

Name
Enter your name (lol)

Address
Enter your Bangor e-mail address (So *****@bangor.ac.uk - where ***** is your Bangor login)

Password
Enter your user name password (same password you use on the computers)

Description
Type - Bangor Email Address

Then tap Next

Step 7 - Select IMAP

Step 8 - Under the Incoming Mail Server section, enter the following settings:

Host Name
Enter - imap.bangor.ac.uk

User Name
Here enter your login user name again.

Password
Here enter your Bangor password again.

After you've input this information scroll down to the Outgoing Mail Server section.

Step 9 - Under the Outgoing Mail Server section, enter the following settings:

Host Name
Enter - smtps.bangor.ac.uk

User Name
Here enter your login user name again.

Password
Here enter your Bangor password again.

The select Next

Step 10 - Your phone should then verify the settings, this can sometimes take rather a while. If you receive an error saying [B]Cannot Connect Using SSL/B] just select yes and let me know.

Step 11 - Finish it all off and select Save

Your e-mail should now be set up and working :smile:
