University vs Tesco Management Scheme

Hi

I am currently an employee at Tesco and have been given the option of being put onto the management scheme simply by asking my line manager to sponsor me. But I'e also applied to university to do Business Management and don't know which option to choose.

So I'll basically end up with the same outcome within a few years anyway. Tesco - Guaranteed job as a line manager starting on £26000 a year, and it only takes about a year to be signed off the scheme, whereas with university I'll have to join the thousands of graduates fighting for a job, and have the debt of about £50000.

I know there are benefits from going to university which I wouldn't get if I stayed working with Tesco, but it's the idea of a guaranteed job which is attracting me to become a part of this scheme. I have also become quite demotivated over the past few months at sixth form, and I'm not sure if I have what it takes to complete three years at university.

Anyone able to help me to make a decision?

Do both. Study part time with the OU.
