Tutoring - Gap year

hi,

I'm on my gap year, and i'm interested in spending some of that time during some tutoring (in my A-level subjects: Maths, Bio, Chem) as it would be something interesting to do and would help me earn some money at the same time maybs
I was wondering if anyone had any experience in this and how they went about arranging/doing this, as i would appreciate any tips.
or generally if anyone knows how i would approach this.
it's better than sitting on my backside all day ...:colone:

I've tutored for the whole of sixth form and I still am continuing for the next 6 months before I leave  I mainly did maths - I put up signs in the local shops, as soon as you get one student, tell their parents you're interested in more, and word of mouth spreads fast.

Btw I charged 20/hour, which is also less than normal so...
