Maths?
Do the top universities like lse, Oxbridge, Warwick require maths or maths and further maths?

For some subjects yes they do - look on their wesbties for the specific entry requirements for any courses you're considering applying for.
The only course that will require F maths is maths, however you will need to check if your chosen course requires maths or not. However generally maths or F maths will be seen as a useful choice regardless of subject even if it is not required.
