Liverpool Uni accomidation

Can someone help me with student accommodation. I've received a conditional offer from university of Liverpool and accepted it, i live in wirral and my house is about 10 miles from the university and i don't know if i should stay at home or get student accommodation.

Could always go halls for 1st year anyway and then either move home after that or stay independent.

The experience of life in halls is bloody brilliant (I was at Exeter uni) and was one of my fondest memories.

I recommend that you live out, at least for your first year. It will cost you about 5k, but it's worth it. If you live in a student community like Carnatic or Greenbank, you will make lots of friends. And that's the experience of life time.

Be warned though. Not all Halls are same. The posher the Hall (i.e. Vine Court) the less easy it is to make friends. If you are self-catered, don't share facilities etc., then it is much harder to meet people.
