Mixed views. Queen's

Hi,

I am a re-applicant. I am from England.
I have applied for medicine at Queen's Belfast, (I didn't last time).
I am on a gap year and have AAA at A-Level and 718 UKCAT, Band 1.
I have read on many sites that Queen's does not interview everyone.
I've read that they mostly interview post graduates.

Also, I read a thread on New Media Medicine where people were saying that they received offers without an interview. That was in 2012.

So, did anuone reveive an offer without interbiew for 2013 cycle?

They now interview everyone. You get to interview on a point basis where you get up to 36 points for meeting the academic requirements then up to a further 6 points based on your ukcat score. Those with approx 38 out of 42 (changes every year) will be invited to interview then you will be offered a place based solely in your performance at interview. Hope this helps
