English Literature A2 Coursework

Hi,

I'm currently doing my A2 English Lit coursework. This piece of coursework has to be based on choosing your own text and using the critical anthology to analyse it. I'v decided to do "Metaphor", however I'm struggling with finding a poem that can be used to analyse the uses of different types of metaphors. Any ideas ???

Thanks

Try Shakespeare's Sonnets he's really good at using Metaphors. Also try Havisham by Carol Ann Duffy. Just type it in and you might get websites like this which are really useful. http://famouspoetsandpoems.com/thematic_poems/metaphor_poems.html.Hope I helped
