Newcastle or Exeter?

Hi. In the next few months I have to choose my firm and insurance choice, but I'm really confused. Could you please tell me something about these two universities? I mean, your opinion about the living costs, the atmosphere, the student life, the dorms, and so on..

I'm just like you, I have offers from both and hesitated.

Newcastle:

In the north, and the north is known for having cheaper living costs than the south!

Lots of societies to join. They do "give-it-a-go" where you can try out a society for free before you pay to join, also other things you can pay for like trips to other cities and activities (they have just done a zombie run).
The SU always has events on.

The university is in a great location - across the road is the main shopping centre in Newcastle city centre, and the main street (Northumberland street).

The SU has a Starbucks, Dominos, and a bank. It's only a 5 minute walk to other things like Caffe Nero, Costa, Nandos, McDonalds, Burger King, etc.

Great, friendly atmosphere.

I can't talk about dorms since I don't live in university accommodation.

You should visit both universities first before you make your decision, so you can be sure you make the right one.
