Ha I only really know of him for being massively overpowered on Fifa 15 really. Watched a few videos of him last year to see what the hype was about. He's fast, looks pretty skilful with a good first touch. Brings other people into play as well. Obviously can finish as well as proven by his ridiculous goal stats. Tends to pass the ball into the net rather than hoof it going by his highlight reels.
Don't really know what happened at Roma, can't find any info really. Only 13 games played though so he didn't have much of a chance. He could be a great impact player for us I feel and just give us something a little different.
Ashley is clearly panicking at the thought of relegation and losing out on the big TV money. He's taking a risky gamble that may turn out to be worth more than any of these transfers. But there's plenty clubs who have tried this strategy and failed - QPR being a prime example in recent years. But I think they were deeper in the relegation battle when they did it.

This. Basically. The only time he's ever really invested is when we've been in genuine relegation danger.
QPR was a totally different situation though aye. They were basically in the same situation Villa are in now, and they pissed away money they didn't have on players that were past their best for the most part. Whereas we're pissing away money we do have on young lads with huge potential.
The issue surrounding the Berahino price is that everybody will gamble on goals. And you need goals. He gives you goals - even if he is unfit and rusty, as Pulis admitted yesterday. He was nonchalant and scored a brace. Goals win games - and you don't have anybody to score.
