Is he any good? Insane scoring record at CSKA but failed miserably at Roma.

Ha I only really know of him for being massively overpowered on Fifa 15 really. Watched a few videos of him last year to see what the hype was about. He's fast, looks pretty skilful with a good first touch. Brings other people into play as well. Obviously can finish as well as proven by his ridiculous goal stats. Tends to pass the ball into the net rather than hoof it going by his highlight reels.

Don't really know what happened at Roma, can't find any info really. Only 13 games played though so he didn't have much of a chance. He could be a great impact player for us I feel and just give us something a little different.
Wow you guys have significantly improved your squad that is easily a squad that can be within top 10 of the PL.

Townsend
Rumours Saido might be coming too.
Shelvy
Doumbia

And an atletico defender being linked as well!
£21m bid for Berahino. ****ing madness, Ashley has lost the plot.

Solid, steady investment over the last 3/4 years would have avoided this farce.
Ashley is clearly panicking at the thought of relegation and losing out on the big TV money. He's taking a risky gamble that may turn out to be worth more than any of these transfers. But there's plenty clubs who have tried this strategy and failed - QPR being a prime example in recent years. But I think they were deeper in the relegation battle when they did it.

This. Basically. The only time he's ever really invested is when we've been in genuine relegation danger.

QPR was a totally different situation though aye. They were basically in the same situation Villa are in now, and they pissed away money they didn't have on players that were past their best for the most part. Whereas we're pissing away money we do have on young lads with huge potential.
All this money being thrown around and Paul Dummett is still your only left back

Still sounding a bit bitter there like mate.

Spoiler

The issue surrounding the Berahino price is that everybody will gamble on goals. And you need goals. He gives you goals - even if he is unfit and rusty, as Pulis admitted yesterday. He was nonchalant and scored a brace. Goals win games - and you don't have anybody to score.
What about clearing out the deadwood? Like Obertan, Gouffran, Marveaux, Haidara, Riviere and Cisse?
Steven Fletcher has moved to Marseille on loan.

In a twist of fate, he'll be team-mates with Cabella and Thauvin. Who'd have thought?
Horrendous night for us tonight. Bottom 4 well cut adrift now.
Could be worse by Saturday as Norwich's next game is at Villa and it's a vital 3 points for them.
Weyy get in Baggies. Welcome back to the mixer Swansea
Need 4 points from the next two games or we are ****ed.

Yep. Could be as good as gone by the end of February the way everyone else is going.
Norwich and Villa are down. Stay above Sunderland and you'll be fine

Sunderland looked decent tonight, to be fair, but they have done against City at the Stadium of Light in the past too. Hart won the game for City.
