I think I have done enough to get an A in maths. Hopefully I can smash further maths next year. I'm just praying all my ums will average out to give me an A this year.

Arsey I'm a little bit panicked now could you tell me what you think(I really need A* in this):
Impulse I did wrong with the plus and minus and got lambda=-1/3.
The angle but for the centre of mass I annoyingly did right but imagined the lengths of the triangle they gave me were both 6a(so did=45-theta).
Finally the worst one, the 8 marker for distance AB, I used the wrong time,0.525, as I found it using v=u+at and didn't use the negative version of 'v'. How many marks do you think I lost? Particularly on the final one?!

it is very hard to say without seeing the solution and MS.

I would say for all of those errors you are looking at 5-8 marks lost

Hey Arsey,
Do you reckon 70/75 in this paper would be 94 ums?

70/75 is not even 94% raw so it's impossible that will be 94 ums given how easy this paper is. 90 ums is still quite possible though. If 65 is the A boundary then your mark will be 90 ums. I think the real A boundary will be between 61-65 (broad range I know lol)

Someone (ahem) has done some FP3 solutions here: http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=2718432&page=12&p=48324220#post48324220
(NB the answer to question 7c there should actually be pi/2.)

I disagree with your answer to 3b, Arsey; you found the angle between the downward vertical and AC, not AB!

me and many others got what he got i think he is right.

loool but you got balls for going against arsey nice

edit: you need to find the angle you are talking about in order to find the angle between AB and if you go back to check that is what he did

They need to be in equal steps, so it's
75 - 100
70 - 90
65 - 80
