do get help in your assignments/essays/projects at university

i have a conditional offer to study fashion BA(hons) and was wondering if you get any help in your assignments/essays or projects like you would during secondary school or sixthform/college, you see i mostly struggle with words and forget things, and didnt get very good GCSE grades,but was doing 'ok' in sixthform, if this continues im worried that ill fail the first year, i started to reconsider going and just apply to a college to study fashion and clothing for a year, or just or full time at retail store? please help
