How old are you ?

If you want why not learn styles that dnt involve striking? BJJ or wrestling. You won't get hit in the head and you'll get a good background for MMA when you're older and can make your own decisions?

I agree MMA is pretty expensive , luckily I can pay for my gym feed myself.

You can be fat and do BJJ dw lol. The exercise will help you lose weight anyway.

Doesn't she want you to be able to defend yourself? BJJ is great for self defence and you won't get punched around.

I dnt want to tell you to disobey your mum but you might need to push for it abit.

My mum didn't . My dad kinda did, always said that I should become a doctor if I could. Luckily I wanted to be one aswell and had what it takes to eventually get in.

I'm not gonna say I'm doing it because of him, but there was some influence

Sport BJJ in the Gi is more like a game of physical chess than a fight anyway
