IELTS submission

Hello ! Salam Alaykoum for the muslims !
I am currently a high school student in France and I am planning to apply to medical schools in the UK ( Liverpol, Bristol, Manchester and UCLan but this could change).
I have a question concerning the IELTS, can I submit my test later in the year, after the application deadline because I can't pass it before the due date for application ( I am living too far away from a center).
Thanks in advance for your answers !!!

Hi, thanks for your post. Indeed a valid concern! Usually the university specifies if they need the scores with the application itself. I'd suggest writing to them to confirm. Either way, it increases your chances to submit the IELTS instead of waiting for the offer to signal your language skills to your university. If you think you can't achieve your desired score by the deadline, how about a safer option with a score guarantee: scoreforsure.com

Do you do the normal “bac” or do you have the international option? If you pass the latter you may not need the IELTS exam.

Hello, thanks for your response ! I do the the OIB, the "bac" with the international option.
I've seen that if I have this option I may not need to pass the IELTS but I wondered if it would disadvantage me in any way...

Not at all. We’ve never been asked for any proof of English language proficiency by Bristol ( in third year now), but check with your admission office.

We’re down in the South East and my kids spent between 2 and 3 hours in public transport to be able to do the OIB with English as the option. Other languages were available closer to home but….
