Anyone done GCSE equivalency testing for a PGCE?

Hey, has anyone done equivalency testing for a PGCE through the website equivalencytesting?

1.which option did you select home study- where you are sent homework/ send back to a tutor, then after 12weeks you call to arrange the test OR just examination only? (I only ask as home study cost more)

2. Also which subject would you say is easier- combined science syllabus or Science biology syllabus? (Im looking at combined science as from my understanding its more of a overview rather than a pure biology science which is memorising more.

Did you find anything out on this? I need to get a B in maths GCSE in order to get onto my PGCE. I'm unsure whether to fork out the extra for the course or just study myself...
