Cambridge pre u vs a levels

I'm going to be picking my a levels soon and I want to pick english lit, history,spanish and economics. However economics is Cambridge pre u, so how will it be different to a level? Should I still take it?

Well I'm currently doing my GCSEs now and will be picking my A Levels. I've taken core science and got an A* and I'm on track for As and A*s in all my subjects. Will this help you answer my question?

I think the Pre-u would be the better option, as you seem to be very academic and it should challenge you more while being more interesting.
