Hi guys,

Can someone explain to me the importance of awareness of diversity issues, in order to enhance emphatic understanding? I don't get the link between the awareness of diversity and more empathy.

Well if you understand the diversity between people and how an individual's culture or ethnicity impacts on their life you will have an increased level of empathy. You cannot empathise without understanding
