Fashion collection using recycled gun metal

Hi all,

The student in the video below made a fashion collection out of recycled gun metal as part of her Fashion Textiles degree at Middlesex.

This project really caught my attention and I was wondering whether anyone has seen similar ideas developed elsewhere? How effective do you think something like this can be in changing attitudes towards issues like gun crime?

I'd be really interested to hear your thoughts on this.
