Stuck between two A-level choices

Because my option pools don't work, I am still deciding between German and politics for AS levels, with my other subjects being history economics and psychology. I want to read business or international relations at University. What do people think i should do?
Sorry you've not had any responses about this. :frown: Are you sure you’ve posted in the right place? Posting in the specific Study Help forum should help get responses.

I'm going to quote in She-Ra now so she can move your thread to the right place if it's needed. :h: :yy:

Spoiler

Hey! I think Politics would go very well with History and Economics and even a bit of Psychology! Having an a-level in a language is quite impressive. However, unless you want to specialise in something that's got to do with a German a-level , like a translator for instance, I don't think it's necessary. I think Politics would go well with your possible courses in University! You could also decipher between German and Politics A-level by researching the specification for each a-level. After you've done that, see which a-level seems more appealing because at the end of the day you're going to be doing this course for 2 years and it definitely needs to be something you enjoy or you'll just lose motivation and probably get a poor grade.

I hope this helped! :-)

I do A level Politics and I love it - I almost didn't take it, but it's really interesting and has led to me being a lot more engaged with Politics generally. Unless you need German, or you really, really like it, I recommend taking Politics; it seems like it would be a good match with your other subjects.
