The Pupillage Interview/Acceptance/Rejection Thread 2016

I haven't heard anything from them either, although I suspect they're just slow at updating the gateway sadly There's someone else on here who was waiting to hear too- Iamthelaw I think?

EDIT: I also understand they interviewed 15 people at second round, but as far as I know they were only offering 1 pupillage. (although their pupillage policy suggests they would interview 6-8 for 1 place, so you never know)

I haven't heard anything, and no change on gateway either. I didn't realise they were interviewing 15!

Is anyone, who has been offered St Mary's, Nottingham, turning it down? I'm on the dreaded reserve-list but haven't been told when I'll hear or where on the reserve list I am.

Afraid not for me. I accepted over the phone this morning. Although cannot say how many are being offered.

Still sitting here hoping someone has something else/better/other (non-unfortunate) circumstance in line and rejects!

I wonder why it is taking so long if they did telephone calls this morning, because I would have accepted there and then like you: hoping it means someone is considering another option.

Can I ask if they offered it to you for this September/December or next?

So it's after 4pm, still waiting! I have not been useful all day, the anticipation is absolutely killing me. I have a knot in my stomach, haven't eaten all day, #canteat! Tired of refreshing PG and this page...each time I hear my phone buzz my heart jumps....when I get a new email my heart drops to my stomach as I refresh......This is the worse feeling ever! Either way, I know I'm gonna have a good cry; either tears of joy or in contemplation of suicide if I have to do this again next year!

May I politely ask that anyone lucky enough to get an offer or hears about an offer being made, or is unfortunate to get a rejection, to please post it here to help those of us still waiting out of our misery.

Similarly, (since no-one else is saying it) posting generic "I got an offer at my ideal set" is the least helpful to this thread. Whilst we all want to be happy for you (and deep down we are)....it is just increasing our own tension as we guess which chambers you are referring to or try to reply/DM you. So in a way...it's kind of cruel to the rest us! Please be nice today/this week.
