Both are solid for employability and getting a job usually depends on your skills at the end.So i would recommend you to choose the university by looking at the modules and choosing the one that suits you

Oooft, tough question. Depending on what you think you'll want to specialise in your later years of the degree I'm really not too sure. I personally applied to St Andrews for Computing and Maths but also applied to Edinburgh for Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science and I'll be firming with Edinburgh because in my opinion they have the best informatics department in Scotland. But at the same time St Andrews is well know for its Maths Department.

This. Reputation and prospects wise, they are the same. Edinburgh has more research as it is the bigger university, but St Andrews is known for good undergrad teaching.

Instead look at the specific course structure and which one appeals to you more, but more importantly think about where you might want to live for 4 years of your life. Medium-sized lively city with plenty to do, or small town with **** all.
