I was wondering whether you can become a nursery or primary school teacher with a BA in an academic subject and a MA in Education?
In a UK state school you need QTS (qualified teacher status) to teach. This is a practical qualification, whereas the MA is an academic qualification. The MA is usually completed by qualified teachers. I've never met a teacher with an MA in education who said it contributed anything at all to their career.
