Depends. I don't want to be one of those old people who can't do anything at all. If that means I die at 40 then so be it. I would only want to die super old if I was healthy, could walk and take care of myself... You get me?
Provided I still have all my wits about me and have reasonably good quality of life, I would want to live for as long as possible. If my quality of life due to illness especially, decreases and nothing can be done, I would want to die sooner rather than later.
