During exam season send a private message or message on a group chat. Then realise that someone may have their phone on them during the exam by mistake, and that it might go off during the exam because of you.

Then feel slightly worried for an hour or so.

No you're not.

That's their own **** to deal with. It's not your fault they didn't turn their phone off.

Funny you should say that, someone's phone went off in an exam today and nothing really happened. Whether it came from people's bags, I do not know.

Anyway, if you know they have an exam then it's best to err on the side of caution but it'd be their fault if their phone was on.
