English AQA: Question 3 - Please mark
If i did this 3 more times (Different quotes, same thoughts and feelings) what mark would I get?
"Tense and exciting" is what i was looking for.
Firstly, the opening part of the paragraph is tense because of the use of time limits. "Ten more minutes". This quote suggests they were under pressure to descend from the mountain as time is running out, which builds a tense effect alongside with an eager outlook on what is going to happen next. In addition, another quote showing tension,"A decision was needed" implies time is their only hope or else death will be their last resort.
