OCR GCSE Computing Grade Boundaries

Hey there, I was wondering what I would need in the exam out of 80 for an A*

1st coursework assignment - 39/45 (A)
2nd coursework assignment - 41/45 (A*)

You would need about 110 UMS on the exam out of 120 for an A* overall
You would need 80UMS for an A
50 UMS for a B

And so on...

These are based on last years boundaries

40 is the A* boundary for the either of the two courseworks so the two combined will put you on the A* boundary. So I'm guessing since the exam was a bit harder than last year it will 65/80 for A* so you will need to get 65 marks in the exam but I would suggest aiming for higher since they may not change the grade boundary

So how many marks would I need to get in the exam for an A* overall?
1st coursework - 35/45 (A)
2nd coursework - 36/45(A)

Based on last year you would need exactly 60/80 to get the A* grade

Is that overall or just for the exam?

39/45 is A* not A.
39 RAW = 81 UMS
41 RAW =85 UMS

270 UMS gives you an A* in total

So subject to moderation, you would need 104 UMS minimum in the exam to get an A*

Last year, 104 UMS was 50/80. However, be aware that the grade boundaries have changed significantly over recent years. In 2013, you would have needed around 66, and around 56 in 2015

Hope that helps

Although slightly late since I received my GCSE results last year, I appreciate the help. In the end I got an A*

Oh, didn't see the date 😂
I got very similar C/A scores to you, so I'm hoping the grade boundaries don't massively fluctuate and that I can also get an A*
