What are my A-level choices like at college?

Hey, so these are my A-level choices for this year:

English Combined
Psychology
Philosophy & Contemporary Society
Sociology

Generally speaking, what are these like to study? I know what each course entails, but (personally) how did people find them (e.g. the heaviness of the content)?
So, if anyone has studied one of these at A-level before, it would be really helpful if you gave me an insight into what it was like and maybe some tips.

Thank you  xx

Psychology is very content heavy- be prepared! There is a lot to memorise since you have to know details of many different studies and know how to use them in essays ): That being said, psychology is very interesting and the more you enjoy the subject, the easier it will be to remember details!
