How good is the history department at Loughborough?

I want to study History and have recently come across this university. I wanted to know whether the history department is any good and also how lenient they are with grades? What are the chances of me getting into history which is an ABB course with BBB? Thank you!

How lenient they are is a difficult question to be honest.If you are predicted BBB and submit an exceptional personal statement, it's sometimes possible to get an offer.
If you were offered ABB and got BBB, there is a chance you'd still get in - it all depends on how other people have done. If everyone has matched or exceeded there offers, your chances are a bit slimmer, but with BBB you'd be classed as a "near miss" and this would be looked at on a case by case basis.
So it's not impossible at all - however the only sure way to get in is to meet or exceed your offer.
