Define being "above school leaving age"?

I'm sixteen, but I leave school June 2017..
does that count as being above school leaving age?

I think 18 is the school leaving age?

You can leave if you're 16 by the end of Year 11, but have to stay in some form of education until 18.

Yes, but you still have to stay in part time education and training full or part time.

It depends why you're asking. If it's for jobs or similar, then school leaving age is defined as both 16 and already done GCSEs.
School leaving age is being 16 and left secondary education according to the government young workers section.
