Hmm I was 1 mark of an A* in GCSE English Literature and was bitter about that for a while last year. This time round at AS, I was 1 mark into an A in Chemistry so it balanced out in the end! :p:

Only AS, so not a biggie as I'll have next year to resit and improve, but i was one UMS mark away from a grade C. That was annoying, but still funny at this stage to look at it. No obvious area to improve either it seems, which is a shame, both the exam units were virtually identical in marks.

I know one felt harder than the other though, so can just work on the "easier" one for resit if I only do one.

My Spanish teacher said "I wonder how many marks you were off an A" when I got my results but because I was happy with what I got and didn't want to ruin it I didn't want to find out.If I found out I was 2 marks off an A but couldn't get a remark it would have drove me mad! :smile:
