University application for biochemistry

I've received CCD in a level maths, chemistry and biology. However, I will be retaking some of my a level modules in 2017 to improve my grades. I was also in the K+ Programme with KCL. Will my application for biochemistry be considered?

Speak to admissions to be sure, but my instinct is that it's unlikely. I got similar grades, got onto a foundation year at a different uni then transferred off the back of that, but I'm 99% sure that was a mixture of doing well in my foundation year AND a lot of relevant job experience.
