IB to GPA conversion

Hi everyone!

So I got my IB results today and I'm not quite sure how to convert it to GPA to see how likely it is to get into the universities I'm applying too...

I understand there's a 4.0 and 5.0 scale which I'm confused about as well. It seems that both 6s and 7s are regarded as a 4.0 on the 4.0 scale and a 5.0 on the 5.0 scale (6=A and 7=A as well)

would this be a fair scale to use? Cause I got all 6s and 7s with an A in EE and in TOK... so would that be a full GPA? and if not, how would I work it out?

Thanks!
