To what extent was Staling's attitude to foreign powers before 1929 driven by ideology?
I just need a points that I can use in this essay. thank u

I don't know loads about the topic, but I'd say look at relations with Germany (driven by convenience, security, mutual dislike of Poland as a free state) compared to relations with Britain, which were driven by ideology and the espionage associated with that.

Also consider, for balance of argument maybe, the extent that Stalin's attitude towards Germany was shaped by their involvement with the KPD (German Communist Party). Maybe you could also put something in with the whole socialism in one country vs world revolution?
