it was a 1 marker asking for the x coordinate of a graph. I put both the x and y inside a coordinate bracket like (0.5,-2.25). Would that count as the x value is correct?
Hopefully, that answer does show that x=0.5. If they are being really strict then I don't think you'll get the mark.

for the aqa paper 2 right, it was indeed 0.5, and you should be given the mark to be honest.
