Hi, there. Keep on doing sufficient practice ... Apps like Duolingo are really good for languages and doing past papers etc will help. ^CoffeeAndPolitics
I think the key is 'little and often'. Languages aren't like maths or sciences, where you can cram a bit at the end. They take time to develop, and you need constant exposure to them. Try to not let a day go past where you haven't read, listening or said something in French. 40 minutes every day is FAR preferable to a couple of mammoth 3-hour sessions.
Also, listen to as much as you can - there's so many sources of French now available on the internet, you're spoilt for choice. Listen to a range of content, and a range of different voices. Listening is something which most people seem to find the hardest skill, so it pays to develop it early and continue to refine it.
