Hi all

So I'm planning to start my dissertation soon and was just curious as to what primary research methods people use. Apart from creating a survey and kindly asking TSR members to fill it in, what else can you do? I am aware of the different primary research methods out there but what realistically is a student expected to do when they have little to no connections? I just don't understand how you're expected to do primary research when up to now, most courseworks have only required secondary research. Thanks!
