Which dog should I neuter? :(
Hi,
I have an 8 year old male dog and a 7 month old female dog, neither are neutered. This is now becoming an issue but I’m struggling to decide which dog to get neutered. My initial thought was my 7 month old because she’s younger and it might be a more straight forward operation. But what if at some point I’d like her to have puppies? On the other hand I’m concerned that neutering my 8 year old could be a big operation for him with complications. But it’s getting difficult to keep them apart as his interest in her is permanent and not just when she’s in season.
