First of all, the fact that the triangle is an isosceles this means the hight and the base have the same length and let’s denote the length of the side by x. So area=x squared/2.
Then you find x given that the area is 4 cm . When you have the value of x you use Pythagorus to find the hypotenuse and then add all three sides to get the perimeter
