Chances of Getting In?

I know this is probably the millionth thread on this, but as an international student from the US I don't really have anything to compare St. Andrews too. I've applied for a double International Relations and Modern History degree, but I also had a second choice of Biology and Economics. For my essay on why these programs and St. Andrews, I talked about both of these degree programs, but when I got the email, it said I was only applying to my first choice (IR and Modern History) so I'm wondering if I may have ruined the whole thing by talking about other interests. Did I botch the whole thing up? Also do they look at all at your common app essay?

My qualifications far exceed their requirements:
ACT: 35 out of 36 (99.9 percentile-they require a 28)
SAT: 1500 (99 percentile- they require 1340 or 1380 I don't remember)
APs (Scored 1-5; They suggest 4s): 5's on AP Lang, AP Gov, AP Environmental Science, AP Biology, and AP US History
4 on AP World History (I didn't take the class)
Currently, I'm taking AP European History, AP Literature, AP Calc AB, and AP Psychology
GPA(they suggest mostly As): 4.0 unweighted, 4.45 weighted but predicted to be 4.5
