Dropping an AS? 3 AS levels?

I’m currently studying Biology, Chemistry, maths and French , however I am seriously considering dropping French. I’m really not enjoying it that much and can’t see myself doing well (I’m predicted an A, but that’s only based off of my gcse results) I’m on track to get A’s in all my other subjects, but I’m unsure about French.
I want to apply to biochemistry at some pretty competitive unis like Oxford and imperial. Do you think only doing 3 AS levels would affect my chances of getting in?
I’m interested in any thoughts anyone may have, please let me know.
Three AS levels won't be a problem at all if you can put up the grades for the standard offer.

However, Imperial do actively prefer people doing four A levels to completion and although I can't tell you if it'd affect your chances, it would most likely mean you get an offer one grade above the minimum.
